How to secure a TikTok account after buying it: the two-step method

The first days after buying a TikTok account matter more than anything else. Changing device, country and settings all at once triggers security checks, or even a restriction.

The method is simple: three days of normal use without changing anything, then a full transfer of the account to your name.

First login

Open TikTok, Add account, then Continue with email / username.
Enter the account's email address, then tap Log in.
The verification code requested by TikTok is automatically forwarded to you by Discord direct message (and shown on your “My verification codes” page).
Enter the code, then the password when the app asks for it.

The code stays valid for 20 minutes: wait for it and do not keep requesting new codes, too many requests can block the login.

Check the account

Once logged in: Profile → ☰ menu → Balance. Monetization details appear there. If anything looks wrong, contact support before going further.

The first 3 days: change nothing

For three days, only use the For You feed: scroll videos like on your usual account, and like and comment on videos from the account's country.

do not post any video;
do not change the password or the email address;
leave the profile picture, bio and username untouched;
keep the proxy on at all times if you are abroad.

These three days let the account get used to its new device and limit security checks.

After 3 days: transfer the account to your name

Replace the email address with yours (Profile → ☰ → Settings and privacy → Account). The code sent to the old address is forwarded to you by Discord direct message.
Change the password.
Remove trusted devices except yours.
Log out all other active sessions.
Enable two-factor authentication.

You can then customize the account (photo, bio, username) and start posting.
