TikTok proxy: use a monetized account from another country (iPhone + Shadowrocket)

Why a proxy and not a VPN?

A VPN shares the same IP address among thousands of users. TikTok easily spots these addresses: an account logging in from a VPN IP looks like it may be outside the country, which can lead to restrictions or a ban.

An “ISP” proxy gives you a private IP, yours alone, tied to an internet provider in the chosen country. To TikTok, your phone behaves like a local device.

• you are not in an eligible country and want to appear in France (or elsewhere);
• you already have an account in your country and want to target another country with a second account.

Step 1: a dedicated iPhone

Never use your main phone: it must be factory reset and stay without a SIM card. Choose an iPhone: setup is simpler and uploaded video quality is better. An iPhone 8 or iPhone 11 is plenty.

• an old phone from someone close;
• a refurbished phone: on certideal.com, “Imperfect” section, “Dur à cuire” range, an iPhone 11 64 GB costs around €80 (indicative price);
• a repair shop selling a damaged phone it doesn't consider worth fixing.

Step 2: reset the phone

1. Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Erase All Content and Settings.
2. Language and region: those of the target country.
3. Decline location services when asked: the Maps app must not be able to locate you.
4. Create a new Apple ID with a new email address.
5. Install Shadowrocket from the App Store (paid app, about €3).

Step 3: buy the proxy

1. On hyperroyal.com, sign in (for example with Google).
2. Open ISP → Buy now, then Add country and pick the country.
3. Choose 30 days (about $4 per month, indicative price).
4. Tick “Get zero fraud risk IP” (Scamalytics preferably, about $1.40): you get a fresh IP that has never been banned.
5. After payment, your access details appear under Proxies → ISP.

Before configuring anything, check the IP on scamalytics.com: it must be rated “low risk”.

Step 4: set up Shadowrocket

1. Add Server, then Type: HTTP (not Shadowsocks).
2. Address = host, Port = port, User = username, Password = password.
3. Enable TCP Fast Open, then Save.
4. Settings → On Demand → Always On: the proxy stays on permanently.
5. On the home screen, tap Connect and allow it: the VPN icon must always stay visible.

Step 5: check, then install TikTok

• Search “IP location” online: the country and city shown must be the proxy's.
• Check the IP again on scamalytics.com (“low risk”).
• Install TikTok only then. Without location access, TikTok relies on the IP address to place the account.
